Our school is the perfect balance of fun and learning, as we take your child on a wonderful journey through gently structured classes, filled with dance and creativity that is age appropriate and engaging. Classes are delivered by our dedicated and nurturing team of teachers who share a genuine passion for children, dance and education. With extensive experience across dance schools, primary and secondary education, and private instruction, our teachers bring both knowledge and care to every class, creating a supportive environment where every child can grow in confidence, skills and creativity.

Miss Kelly

Miss Kelly is the school principal and has been running Kelly's Dance Academy since 2013.

Miss Kelly started dancing at the age of 3 years old and immediately fell in love with dancing in all its forms. Throughout her training at a prestigious dance academy in Essex, UK, she completed examinations, festivals and competitions in and around Essex and London.

Miss Kelly is trained in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Lyrical, Jazz and stage performance, completing exams in the Imperial Society Teachers of Dance (ISTD) and Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabi. After graduating from college with a double-distinction Diploma in Performing Arts (Dance), she went on to work as a professional dancer in the UK for several years.

Miss Kelly also holds a BA (HONS) in Early Childhood Studies and is currently completing her Masters in Teaching, she combines her knowledge of child development and teaching to create age appropriate, engaging dance lessons. Miss Kelly has worked with children from newborn to teenage years for over 20 years in the education and social care factor as well running support programs for children with disabilities.

With her diverse and experienced skills Miss Kelly has created a vibrant and engaging school with a focus on learning through a great curriculum that is age-appropriate classes and fun, whilst being family friendly.

In her spare time Miss Kelly enjoys running around after her two young boys, being outdoors, hiking, yoga and Perth’s amazing coastline.
